Is removing pages enough for privacy?

Only when all information to exclude is on those removed pages. Sensitive content still present on retained pages needs an appropriate redaction process, not a crop or white rectangle.

How WorkSpotHQ helps

Split PDF

Use Split PDF with the source document and select the required page positions. Open the exported file and check that the selection matches the requested content, especially when printed numbering differs from PDF page order.

Organize PDF Pages

Use Organize PDF to review the page sequence and make the supported page changes. Check the first and last page of each section in the downloaded result; a correct file count does not guarantee a correct page order.

Your next steps

  1. Locate each requested page visually.
  2. Select the corresponding PDF page positions.
  3. Extract the selection and reopen the result.
  4. Check that no private or unrelated pages were included.

What this looks like in practice

Printed page 10 may be PDF page 12 after a cover and introduction. Selecting by the printed number alone can send the wrong material.

Illustrative guidance, not a measured accuracy result or a guarantee for every document.

Before you call it done

Removing pages is not redaction. Information on included pages remains visible; use an appropriate redaction process if content within a page must be removed.
