Expenses
The month is over. The receipt pile has other plans.
Collect the relevant receipts, check extracted details, filter by the expense period and review the selected set before exporting or emailing. Keep totals in different currencies separate unless your reporting policy specifies a conversion method.
Put the answer to work
Check the tool’s supported inputs and limits before uploading. Account and plan requirements may apply. See plans.
Which date determines the report?
Use the date rule in your reporting policy. Upload date, invoice date, service period and payment date can differ. Do not silently substitute whichever date is easiest to extract.
How WorkSpotHQ helps
Receipt Processor
In Receipt Processor, add the receipt and choose Process receipt. Compare the editable details with the image. Use Adjust crop if the edges are wrong, or Re-read automatically if another reading is needed. Choose Save to My Receipts after checking the values; use Send now only after reviewing the report and recipients.
Your next steps
- Gather receipts and preserve originals.
- Check merchant, expense date, currency and amount against each receipt.
- Select the reporting period and exclude duplicates or unrelated documents.
- Review the recipient list and attachments before sending or exporting.
What this looks like in practice
A receipt uploaded in September for an August purchase belongs in the period required by your expense policy—not automatically the upload month.
Illustrative guidance, not a measured accuracy result or a guarantee for every document.
Before you call it done
Extraction is a draft for review, not reimbursement approval. A booking confirmation may not prove payment.
