Teams

The next person should not have to reconstruct your work.

Use clear names, checked outputs and a short statement of what is complete and what needs review. Share only the information the recipient needs, using your organization’s approved channel.

Put the answer to work

What belongs in the handoff note?

State what is finished, what remains uncertain and what the recipient should do next. Link to the right version rather than sending several files with competing final labels.

How WorkSpotHQ helps

Merge PDF

Use Merge PDF to combine the prepared PDF files. Add them in the intended document sequence, inspect the result, and download a new copy. If your starting files are photographs or Word documents, convert those copies to PDF first.

Receipt Processor

In Receipt Processor, add the receipt and choose Process receipt. Compare the editable details with the image. Use Adjust crop if the edges are wrong, or Re-read automatically if another reading is needed. Choose Save to My Receipts after checking the values; use Send now only after reviewing the report and recipients.

Your next steps

  1. Name the task, recipient and required outcome.
  2. Use a consistent filename with a meaningful period or version.
  3. Check the final output rather than only the source.
  4. Include unresolved questions and the next action in the handoff.

What this looks like in practice

Finance needs checked amounts; HR needs the correct applicant documents; field teams may need legible photos. A single generic ‘done’ message does not serve all three.

Illustrative guidance, not a measured accuracy result or a guarantee for every document.

Before you call it done

Guidance applies to small businesses, nonprofits, property teams and service teams, but does not add collaboration or access-control features to individual tools.
